Cost guide

What Does It Cost to Build?

Every custom home, extension and renovation is different, so every project is priced individually.

No one-size-fits-all figures.

As a custom builder, we don't work from standard price lists or cost-per-square-metre guesses. Your site, your design and the finishes you choose all shape the final cost, and those vary enormously from one project to the next.

Instead, we take the time to understand your project and give you clear, transparent numbers based on your plans, so you can make decisions with confidence.

Ready for real numbers? If you have plans, engineering and an energy rating, we can prepare a detailed feasibility with a full price breakdown within 7 days. There's a small fee, deducted from your deposit when you sign up to build with us.

What affects cost

Factors that shape the price

01

Site & slope

Soil conditions, slope, access and existing structures all affect foundations, earthworks and how a build is approached.

02

Design & size

The size, layout and complexity of the design, plus any structural or engineering requirements, have a big impact on cost.

03

Finishes & inclusions

From benchtops and joinery to flooring, fixtures and cladding, the finishes you choose make a real difference.
